Jordan is looking forward to a month in residence as a fellow at the Aspen Music Festival's Composition Master Class Program, where he will work with mentor composers Christopher Rouse and Augusta Read Thomas. As a fellow, Jordan will be writing a new piano quartet for the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble, to be premiered on July 20th, 2012.

Some of Jordan's other current projects are a new quartet for the Linden String Quartet, and a collaboration with poet/playwright Klara Wojtkowska on a cantata for mezzo-soprano, chorus, and orchestra.

Jordan is currently pursuing the Master of Musical Arts degree at the Yale School of Music. His teachers at Yale have included Martin Bresnick, Aaron Jay Kernis, Ezra Laderman, Ingram Marshall, and Christopher Theofanidis.
